Tis the season of Love, and at Fine Art Miracles (FAM), Love is what has always inspired us to create transformative experiences for individuals with challenges, especially for our Older Adults. That’s why we’re excited to offer our Multi-Sensory Sessions, a unique program designed to stimulate the senses and promote engagement in a safe, supportive environment for people with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias.
These sessions combine the power of aroma therapy, soothing music, sensory coverings, and our interactive social robot to create an enriching experience that motivates verbalization, enhances socialization, and stimulates memories. Each session is built around a carefully crafted theme that encourages participation, whether it’s through storytelling, making, games, or even simple conversation. Our social robot friend, Hugo, interacts one-on-one with participants, guiding them through activities and offering friendly conversation that makes them smile. Not only do these sessions help increase attention, reduce anxiety, and foster creativity, but they also promote a sense of belonging and connection.
