Here at the Artist Spotlight, the month of August is National Parks month! The first artist in this series is Thomas Moran. Moran was a painter best known for his stunning views of the American West. In fact, he was known as the first artist to capture the magnificence of the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone, and his renowned depictions were influential in Yellowstone becoming the first U.S. National Park!
