Better child care starts with you!

Working parents have a million things on their mind. Whether it’s paying bills, the rising costs of gas and groceries, or helping their kids with their homework, we all have a lot of things going on. But we’re here to ask that you please make sure voting is one of them.

As a Child Care Voter, the time to make yourself heard is now. Better child care can jump-start an education for Pre-K students. It can keep our economy strong by giving parents the chance to focus on work while their kids are in school. Our kids, parents, and providers deserve the tools to succeed and right now they aren’t getting what they need.

The primary will be here before we know it, so mark your calendars and set a reminder to cast your ballot. Show your commitment to our kids by voting for candidates up and down the ballot that share our values and will make child care a priority.

It isn’t always convenient to stand in line on a busy Tuesday. So this year, we encourage you to vote on your own time. Voting early lets you to make voting fit your schedule. Whether you vote in person or by mail, make your plan to vote early today. Then make sure your friends and family have a plan to vote early, too.

Do you know who can help you stick to your plan to vote? Your fellow Child Care Voters! If you haven’t yet, join our email list and Facebook group to stay up to date and connect with other like-minded voters.

If we work together, we can elevate the issue of child care and build a brighter future for our families and for our kids. We will get there, one vote at a time.
