Recently, Fine Art Miracles (FAM) has had the privilege of partnering with the Pittsburgh-based organization, Always B Smiling. This partnership will continue through October, as we provide a variety of services to the families and challenged children that Always B Smiling supports. FAM services include: Movement & Music classes, Drumming Exercise, Art lessons, and the opportunity to work with our FAMbot programming as our Hugo robot reads books aloud, engages in conversation with the youth, plays games and makes art projects. Adults will be offered a therapeutic session of Drumming, Art, Movement & Music or Writing. Our goal is to give the youth time to have fun and get creative while allowing their parents and caregivers time to take a break and share with one another. Each weekend offers a different therapy program and ends with ice cream for the entire family!
Always B Smiling was founded in 2020 by Kristin and Dean Huibregtse after the passing of their son Bennett, aka “B”. They made a promise that they would continue to share his smile with the world and in doing so, bring smiles to so many others. They aim to provide support and put smiles on the faces of children in need as well as their parents, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
